Storm the Bastille! Vive la France!
Bastille day is France’s national holiday to commemorate the storming of the Bastille. The Bastille was a prison that the French monarchy used to lock up anyone who did not agree with them. On July 14, 1789, a large number of French citizens gathered together to attack the prison and this was the start of the French Revolution.

I just got back home from my vacation. I had to be up at 2:30 this morning to catch a bus to Montego Bay from Negril, and after a long layover in Miami I’m home, but pretty much exhausted. Anyway, I’ll be back to regular posting soon. Expect many beach pictures to follow shortly!

Vacation

I’ll be leaving on vacation this morning at around 3am (the early flight’s are the cheapest!), I’ll try to keep updating at least once a day via the queue. Later!

Yes, I am an American, and yes, I’ve been posting flags and fireworks all day today, but the 4th of July is a very special holiday for me. Whatever your political affiliation, I think it’s important to remember the lives of the brave men and women who sacrificed everything for their loved ones back home. Please take a moment today to remember those who gave their lives to keep us safe and free.
